The Lifestyle Agency is delighted to announce their new client Est. India and their grand opening on 4th November.  Should you require any images or wish to visit for a feature please contact Sabrina@thelifestyle-agency.com.

London, 4th November 2013 – Taking inspiration from traditional Indian street food and authentic Indian cafés, add a twist of fine dining and modern urban decoration, Est. India is then created www.estindia.co.uk.  Opening 4th November Est. India, located at 73-75 Union Street, is set to spice up London’s latest food mecca and endorse the regeneration of one of Bankside’s first Urban Forest Projects – Flat Iron Square.

The Indian brasserie’s scent and the aromas of spices and dishes cooked in traditional tandoor tempt locals and visitors walking through the pedestrianised square. If passing for a quick business lunch, a cosy romantic meal for two or planning a celebration, guests will expect to enjoy the finest Indian food at Est. India.

With over 42 years of experience in five star hotels such as the Taj Hotel and Oberoi Group, Executive Chef Singh has devised a menu taking traditional Indian street food to another level. Using the finest produce he creates mouth-watering dishes and adds a different twist to some of the staple curries and favourites we know and love.

Some of the highlights from the menu include – traditional dosas (from £6.30) – thin rice and lentil pancakes topped with a choice of chicken, lamb or vegetables, malai jhingha (£10.90) with king prawns and cheese, garlic, green chili and saffron; kasundi fish tikka (£8.85) – betki fish cubes marinated with kasundi mustard cooked in tandoor to railway lamb curry cooked in special spices (£9.30).

Chef Singh has not forgotten the pudding lovers and has included irresistible desserts, such as gajjar halwa (£4.50), an authentic Indian carrot cake and kheer (£3.25), the Indian rice pudding. Guests can also enjoy a special Tiffin lunch menu (£7.95) everyday from 12pm to 5:30pm, which includes a bowl of curry of your choice, vegetables of the day and pilau rice or nan.

Est. India is an Indian brasserie with a modern urban feel, offering individual seating booths and long tables with the capacity to seat up to 70 people in one sitting.  The establishment also benefits from a private dining area seating up to 22 people – perfect for any celebration or business event.
