There are many reasons why St.Tropez remains to be one of the most desirable locations year after year, but in 2013 a visit is not complete unless staying at the bijoux and exclusive 12-room Pan Deï Palais. Here are the top highlights for a sizzling and unforgettable summer at this enchanted palace in the delicious South of France:  the fabulous La Folie Douce, Meribel special cabaret appearances; the youthful Cellcosmet; the revolutionary ElliptiGo; Riva the ultimate in luxury on the water; and Indian influence!

This year the world renowned artistic troupe from La Folie Douce, Méribel will be bringing the apres ski from the slopes of Courchevel to the apres sun of the Mediterranean sea, by making two special one off appearances on 19th July and 16th August.  There will be their cabaret show featuring singer Vanessa Mandito, cocktails in the sun and dancing into the late hours.  The evenings are priced at 95€ per person and are available to non residents too. Early booking via the hotel is essential as limited places are available.

The Swiss skin care company Cellcosmet & Cellmen Spa Professional is sowing the seeds in the Pan Deï Palais spa with the finest face and body treatments using cutting-edge science. Starting 27th April, enjoy a Deluxe CellFacial Anti-age treatment at 220€ per hour or a two hour slimming treatment at 320€. Massages are available, starting at 90€ for a 30 minute session. Each treatment is a blend of cellular treatments providing everything the skin and body needs.

As a first for France, ElliptiGos will be available for guests to use around Saint-Tropez, complimentary from Pan Deï Palais. ElliptiGos allow you to combine cycling with running, minimising risk of injury whilst improving endurance. They are the latest craze in the USA and a revolution in outdoor sports, designed for professionals and amateurs alike.

The newly redesigned Pan Deï Palais restaurant has an Indian styled dining room boasting sublime frescos, a magnificent Murano glass chandelier and shimmering red and gold décor reminiscent of Rajasthan palaces. Surrounded by these sumptuous decorations, guests can savour the dishes prepared by Chef Renaud Capelle. Tempting new recipes include “medallion of sea bass, sauce Collioure, aubergine bread pudding and aniseed fennel compote” and “roasted veal filet mignon with a Picholine olive crumble, fondant potatoes à l’Aomori, pan-fried shiitaké mushrooms.”

The Pan Deï Palais has teamed up with Riva to offer daytrips from the Port of Saint Tropez in a superb mahogany Riva speedboat.  There are two types of boats: a 33- foot Riva Aquariva for eight people or a 52-foot Riva Rivale for nine. A trip to Porquerolles starts at 2,500€ per day and a trip to Pampelonne Beach starts at 2,000€ per day. On request, Pan Deï Palais restaurant chef Renaud Capelle will prepare a sumptuous picnic which will be ready on board for guests to enjoy at lunchtime.
