The Stafford London by Kempinski Introduces its ‘Horcierge’ Services

Following a very successful year in equestrian sports for Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, the nation has a new found passion for horsey pursuits. As such The Stafford London by Kempinski has teamed up with The Riding Club London to offer their guests London’s first bespoke ‘Horcierge’ service. Offering two packages from the basic riding needs to the elaborate, guests can enjoy everything from a morning ride in one of the Royal Parks, a personal shopper to help assist buying jodhpurs, a VIP tour of the British Military Stables or a lesson in side-saddle, polo or carriage driving.

What makes The Stafford even more fitting to offer such a service is its Carriage House. Originally built as stables to house the thoroughbreds of the nobility, the Carriage House later became the home of an antiquarian bookseller and a workshop for a fine art framer. As a testament to the building’s past, the ground floor rooms and suites retain their stable doors and bear the names of famous horses. All rooms overlook the 18th century stable yard and to celebrate the new Horsierge service one of the suites has been transformed into an equestrian paradise. Equipped with a stunning Marc Stevenson rocking horse, a Lock & Co riding hat, a pair of Lobb & Sons riding boots, a saddle, dandy brush and polo mints and sugar cubes in the minibar for your horse.

With connections in all spheres of the equine world, from international eventing and show-jumping super-stars, to horse-whisperers, hunt masters, dressage champions and breeders, The Riding Club is London’s finest riding school. The team can offer guests of The Stafford Hotel the re-assurance and skills needed when learning to ride, similarly for those more confident riders, this package will offer horse lovers the opportunity to experience their favourite sport in the heart of London.
