Launch Night for Stovell’s Restaurant & Bar
Team Lifestyle’s newest client, Stovell’s restaurant and bar launched last night and we were there to celebrate alongside acclaimed husband and wife chef team – Kristy & Fernando Stovell. Located on the rural outskirts of Chobham, Surrey, Stovell’s officially opened its doors today. Housed within a stunning sixteenth century Tudor farmhouse, the pair have brought the building back to its original beauty and created a cozy, rustic yet elegant setting.
Surrey’s mover’s and shakers were out in force for the launch, including 80’s singing legend Paul Young. The local press, including the Guildford Magazine, the Surrey Advertiser and Surrey Life joined us and local producers who supply Stovell’s with their ingredients provided the exquisite canapés. These included edible plant pots (with olive soil), Parmesan Crisps, Pork Belly and hand carved Jabugo.
Gavin, the head barman of London’s prestigious Cuckcoo Club (where Kristy & Fernando used to work) created the perfect autumnal cocktail called the Gavino…

…and overall a fantastic evening was had by all.
NOTES:
Both Fernando and Kristy’s talent in the kitchen has presented them with many opportunities to cook for several members of the Royal Family worldwide, celebrities such as Kate Moss, Steven Spielberg, Mick Jagger and former Prime Ministers Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and Prime Minister David Cameron. Fernando has also had the privilege to appear as a guest chef on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and Market Kitchen several times.
