The Lifestyle Agency has been appointed to handle the UK public relations for the Sport Hotels Resort & Spa in Andorra. A collection of three luxury hotels located 1,850 metres above sea level, high in the Pyrenees Mountains. Along with the Sport Wellness Mountain Spa, one of Europe’s largest luxury spas at 5,000m2 spread across five floors.

The collection’s five star property, Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa is the only five star hotel in Andorra offering direct access to the mountains. Located at the foot of the ski slopes of Grandvalira, in the village of Soldeu the hotel has become a haven for winter sports enthusiasts and summer sun worshippers alike. Oozing charm and sophistication, yet maintaining its chic mountain design and décor, Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa is the ideal base from which to explore the untouched beauty of the Andorran Pyrenees both during the winter and summer seasons.

With views like these, Barcelona based architects, BPG were careful to design the hotel in such a way that all 120 suites offer balconies overlooking the mountains. With king sized beds, large hydro-massage baths, walk in dressing rooms and sitting areas as standard in all the rooms, guests are guaranteed the highest standard of luxury accommodation.

During the Summer season the snowy slopes give way to vast expanses of colour, the mountains burst into full bloom and Europe’s highest golf course (at 2,250m) is revealed. With uninterrupted sunshine from June – September, families, couples and friends alike can enjoy an array of outdoor activities. For the thrill seekers try the exhilarating 4×4 off-roading, scenic helicopter flights above the mountain peaks and quad biking. Whilst for those looking to explore the area in a more relaxed fashion, guided hikes, horseback riding and fishing in the lakes are a must.

Well-being is a way of life in the Pyrenees and as such Sport Wellness Mountain Spa offers guests 5 floors of pure bliss, with floor to ceiling windows the spa brings the outdoors in and creates a serene yet energizing atmosphere. State of the art saunas, steam rooms and hydrotherapy pools offer guests the perfect way to relax and unwind before indulging in an extensive list of treatments created by two of Europe’s top brands. Payot a French leader in cosmetics has designed treatments to harmonise, cleanse and revitalize the body. Whilst, exclusive to Andorra, Swiss brand Valmont uses water from the Swiss Glaciers to create the sophisticated ‘Elixir des Glaciers’ treatments.
