Launch party for Saddlers of Mayfair

Last night the Lifestyle Agency gang hosted the official launch party for Saddlers Grill, Mayfair. The night was a great success; the prosecco and cocktails flowed whilst mini offerings from the exquisite menu were circulated around the restaurant.

The evening started at Selfridges for the Delicious Ireland promotion taking place in the Food Hall from the 10th – 29th April. Saddlers head chef Matt Bishop has been a favorite at the demonstration stand over the last two weeks and last night he was making Saddlers very own recipe Irish Soda Bread (recipe donated by the owners mother), followed by organic Irish beef hamburgers and steaks, finished with an Irish coffee.

 

Guests were then invited back to Saddlers Grill over the road where the party started.

Saddlers Grill offers a slice of Ireland in the heart of Mayfair, with a menu of the finest Irish meats, fresh seafood and organic, in season produce, diners will find a home from home in Saddlers Grill.

Head Chef, Matt Bishop has an impressive past. He began cooking at the age of 18 and has built his repertoire working for the likes of Marco Pierre White, Gary Rhodes and Gordon Ramsay where he was taken under the wing of muse and best friend Jason Atherton and later became head chef at Maze. Matt is a charismatic young chef and bursting with passion for Irish produce, which is reflected in the menu at Saddlers.
