Enjoy a swinging summer with London’s only outdoor trapeze school

Gorilla Circus, launched in 2009, was created with the aim of making flying trapeze classes accessible to members of the public. London’s first outdoor circus school is bringing its full-size flying trapeze rig back to the capital this summer, offering locals and visitors the chance to try a new activity whilst enjoying a bird’s eye view of the city.

Gorilla Circus will be located in prime position in Regents Park from April 21st until 2nd September. They will also be making an appearance at Battersea Park from 13th August until 10th September and Victoria Park from 27th July until 12th August. With further locations to be confirmed, Gorilla Circus continues to grow in size and popularity.

From ‘Try ‘n’ Fly’ sessions offering a single swing, to longer lessons and 4 week courses enabling you to improve skills and progress to an intermediate level, packages will be tailored to your specific needs.

Students start with a short safety briefing and warm up and go on to learn a simple trick on the practice bar, 8 foot off the ground. They then attempt the trick on the flying trapeze and, if they succeed, get ‘caught’ by an instructor on another trapeze.

Trapeze offers a unique and exciting adrenaline rush, attracting thousands of curious Londoners over the past 3 years with classes selling out weeks in advance.

In the run up to both the Queen’s Jubilee and Olympic Games 2012 this summer, London is becoming a hub of anticipation and activity. What better way to see some of London’s most beautiful scenery than a flying trapeze, offering flyers a view of the city from the air.

Available for Private Hire for events or corporate functions, Gorilla Circus can be the perfect addition to your party. Also offering Corporate Team Building, Gorilla Circus can help to build trust and teamwork between colleagues. They offer everything from human pyramids to Flying Trapeze.
